The Rentals - Songs About Time -
The Rentals is a band led by Weezer bassist Matt Sharp. As part of their “Songs About Time” campaign and their upcoming three mini-album series , they are posting a new photo each day and a short film every week, chronicling the writing, recording and mixing processes. The photographs will form a calendar that will chronicle Songs About Time, and if you are one of the first 365 people to preorder the box set, you will receive an undeveloped roll of film with your order.
The first album release is in April, the second in July, and the final release will be in October.
Truly a unique and wonderful effort, and they make pretty good music, too. :) Check it out.
